CDI Corporation is searching for a Linux Administrator who can provide Level-2 support. This 6 month project is based in Cary, NC but you must be willing to travel Charlotte, NC anytime, based on the project needs,.You must be flexible and willing to work 24/7, shift rotation, including weekends if required.

Responsibilities:
Adhering to SLAs and ITIL Processes
Mentoring / Training Team Members
Handling tickets
Troubleshooting and Perform root cause analysis
Defining processes and ensuring that the processes are adhered to
Suggests new technologies and design changes
Planning Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support and failure scenarios
Identify Skill gaps and plan for training / knowledge updating

Technical Requirements:
Installing, configuring and maintaining Linux Servers / Virtualization, Sun Servers and AIX servers
Installation and configuration of HA environment using Linux cluster or Veritas Cluster.
Configuration and administration of LVM and Veritas logical volume manager.
Installing and Maintaining kickstart and Solaris Jumpstart environment
Patch and Package administration
Printer Administration
Writing shell scripts to accomplish day to day system administration task
Configuring and supporting domains and on Sun Fire Servers
Troubleshooting

Experience (Posting) 3-5 Years
Qualification BE/BTech
Skill (Primary): Infrastructure Management Services (IMS)-Linux-Linux Clusters
You will be paid $43/hr. Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor candidates at this time so you must be able to work for any employer in the United States.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
