A successful Consultant is a positive and effective team player, interacting with various teams including Engineering, Operations, Account and Professional Services to provide continuity, availability and accountability for security services through the life of the contract. Their presence on the National Grid account will, over time, create a cohesion and efficiency that will enable Client to decrease project implementation timelines while providing the white glove consulting experience expected by the client.

Network Security consulting experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization - from highly technical, to senior management
Ability to identify, understand and communicate complex network and security issues effectively
Effective Project Management and leadership skills, working with multiple teams within the customer environment
Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve issues that impact customer success
Ability to effectively track and communicate project status and results
Ability to identify and communicate techniques, methodologies and usability enhancements to improve future projects
Ability to identify business process requirements, develop effective business processes, implement and gain written agreement amongst Verizon support towers as well as across the Customer and Supplier chain
Ability to identify service requirements as the consumer of a given service, develop and implement effective solutions
A willingness to take ownership of a project stream and execute work they can be held accountable for
Technical Background and Skills
BS in CS/CIS/EE/MIS, or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of experience in the networking/security arenas
Experience in multiple large-scale network environments (500
network devices)
Experience in a range of types of networks (Enterprise, Industrial, Service Provider)
Experience in large data center designs
Strong knowledge in network security design, architecture and implementation
Strong troubleshooting skills in a large-scale network environment
Understanding of Network Layer (2, 3, and 4) concepts and technologies, including:
IPv4, CIDR, NAT
Packet-level understanding of basic TCP/IP Protocols including ICMP, UDP, TCP
GRE and IPSec
BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
MPLS
STP and VLANs
Detailed understanding of contemporary network and security device functions and products
Hands-on configuration-level experience with network and security devices from multiple vendors
In-depth knowledge of a range of network management technologies and systems
Current knowledge of security threats and security tools
Experience with NERC CIP regulatory requirements
CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, CCSE/CCSA, CISSP, CISA, CISM, Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
