Patient Care Coordinator (Raleigh and Cary) JOB
Summary:
Responsible for making appointments, greeting customers, providing information, communication with departments, answering phones.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Reports directly to the Front Office Supervisor SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
None PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
May require prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching, requires eye hand coordination, and manual dexterity associated with a normal office environment.
Occasional stress related to workload and customer problems.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal medical office environment which includes possible exposure to communicable diseases.
Occasional evening or weekend work might be required.
MAJOR DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:

) Greet patients in polite, prompt and helpful manner Provides any necessary instructions/ directions Informs appropriate department of patient arrival Ensures forms have been completed on iPad or paper Uses computer system to generate information to the Physician, clinical staff and billing department Updates patient information, collects copays/ co insurance, provides necessary forms for registration and documentation and obtains signatures Maintains clean, organized, orderly waiting area and work space Maintains clean, orderly and clutter free waiting room Answers phones in pleasant manner and deals with customer needs expeditiously Looks at schedule 3 days out to ensure all appropriate information has been obtained (referral, insurance info and contact info) and entered correctly Performs other duties as assigned ADDITIONAL DUTIES OF THE JOB:
Call any referrals needed/ given by referral dept Sort faxes Move documents Check front desk email Manage Tasks EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Work experience in a clinical setting is desirable Job Type:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
