Job Description:
WMU NC Office Manager and Human Resources Administrator Purpose:
The Office Manager and Human Resources Administrator is responsible for applying oversite and organization to the office, assisting with board and staff meetings while overseeing the daily operations.
Provides leadership and coordination of the organization's human resource functions.
Responsibilities:
General Office
Responsibilities:
Assists Executive Director Treasurer (EDT) and Board President in a timely manner, presenting a positive and encouraging demeanor.
Coordinates Registrations for all WMUNC meetings and partner ministries as needed.
Works with staff members, accountant and EDT to assure clear communication, including but not limited to:
Updates as agreed, financial costs, materials needed, etc.
Oversees daily office operations, including but not limited to:
o Banking duties, General Mail, Special Offerings, Supplies, etc.
Assists in maintaining the membership database and offering database.
Orders materials for Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, Heck Jones Offering, and others as needed.
Hires and oversees seasonal contract workers, necessary hourly help as needed for special projects.
Prepares Budgets as needed for their duties along with financial accountability.
Manages relationships and contracts with all vendors with EDT approval.
Maintains list of all office equipment and ensures up to date, replacing outdated equipment as needed and budgeted.
Other duties as needed.
Meetings, Conferences and Special Events:
Secures locations at direction of EDT and Board Executive Committee.
Arranges necessary lodging, travel, housing for board, staff and speakers.
Arranges all needed documents and materials not limited to but including:
Marketing materials as coordinated by staff and board, Board documents, Conference leader requests, etc.
Organizes staff and board meetings, Annual Calendar of Events and other special meetings at the request of EDT and/or President of Board.
Attends meetings with staff, board and other partner ministries of WMUNC as directed by EDT.
Coordinates with media and marketing specialists for success of social media, website, Tarheel Talk Publications, etc.
Other duties as needed.
Human Resources Administration:
Reviews and ensures accuracy of approved timesheets.
Updates and maintains employee paid leave reports, employee records; ensures that employee changes are entered correctly and timely basis.
Coordinates, updates and maintains annual calendar for staff.
Researches and provides benefits with administration.
New employee orientation.
Ensures compliance to federal and state regulations while ensuring employee safety.
Maintains Employee handbook as board approved and other necessary documents.
Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
Other duties as needed.
