The Engineer in this role will be assigned to our clients core application team. This team provides Tier 2 application and customer support for the SaaS product offering. An ideal candidate would have 2-5 years system administration experience, along with some network and SQL knowledge. The job will have a significant customer focus; experience working at a Help Desk would be valuable. The person we choose would receive education on the applications included in the clients SaaS product offering.
Work duties to include:
Tier 2 application and customer support Break-fix support Project related tasks Rotating pager duty; currently 24/7 for one week about every 7-8 weeks Required to work weekends occasionally for maintenance, usually on Saturday
Skill sets:
Unix/Linux (1-3 years) beginner/intermediate required Windows (1-3 years) beginner/intermediate required Customer Service skills intermediate level required Ticketing System experience intermediate level required SQL knowledge preferred Networking (CCNA) - preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
