The Applications Engineer will be responsible for online seminars to support sales acquisition strategies. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and present our products, set proper expectations of application capabilities, and represent a positive interaction with our prospects, clients and internal departments.
2 or 4 year degree in Business or related field, required.
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; skillfully gather, analyze and document information.
Strong interpersonal skills by maintaining confidentiality with clients, remaining open to ideas and exhibiting willingness to learn and apply new technics.
Strong and concise verbal communication skills, required. Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills, and conduct meetings.
Solid written communication skills in which this individual will edit work for spelling and grammar; presents numerical data effectively, and is able to read and interpret written information.
Strong planning and organizing skills with the ability to prioritize and plan work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness by monitoring work to ensure quality.
Being adaptable and flexible to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events and works effectively with different approaches on work philosophies and styles.
Ability to work responsibly with different departments as part of the team or in a team leadership role.
Consistently dependable by being at work and on time, following instructions, responding to management direction, and soliciting feedback to improve performance.
Advanced understanding of the Internet and web browsers such as Internet Explorer 5.5 and greater and Firefox.
Strong knowledge and ability to use MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word.
Advanced Database or Access experience, preferred.
Responsible for public, private, and marketed online seminars.
Helps and supports the Sales Team in their sales efforts.
Pre-sales project management.
Speaking to large and small audiences in person or online.
Building and designing presentations for speaking engagements and online seminars.
Research for professional and technical development
Works collaboratively with the SchoolDude Marketing team in their marketing efforts.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
