Older Toddler Teacher (18-24 months)

Are you energetic and have a joy and passion for working with young children? Primrose School of Cary is a 5 Star Center now hiring an Older Toddler Teacher. We work with a co-teaching approach where both teachers share classroom responsibilities (lesson plans, weekly newsletters, assessments, etc.).
The position is full time, Monday-Friday. All applicants meeting the education and experience requirements will be called for an interview. Please submit your resume for immediate consideration. Interviews will be held next week.
You must have your North Carolina Criminal Background Check Qualifying Letter, as well as a current physical and TB Test to begin employment
Qualifications:
Preferred candidate should have a BA/BS/AAS Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with your NC Early Childhood Credentials (EDU119) and 12 credit hours in Early Childhood Education
Ability to relate positively with young children and truly love making a difference in the lives of children
2 years of previous teaching or assistant teaching experience with a public or private school, a quality preschool or child care center is preferred
Must be familiar with NC licensing guidelines for child care (5 Star experience a plus)
Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
Potty Training knowledge
Strong communication skills (with your colleagues and parents)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
