BENNETT AEROSPACE, INC. has an immediate opening for a full-time Senior Recruiter III to work in the Bennett Aerospace office in Cary (near the corner of Kildaire Farm and Kilmayne Road). Bennett Aerospace is a small business federal contractor that specializes in recruiting and managing exceptional talent. We recruit and hire highly skilled scientists, engineers, and IT professionals for our government customer(s). Bennett Aerospace currently has staff in over 12 time zones from Germany to Hawaii. Our company is poised for rapid growth and the Senior Recruiter will have the opportunity to grow the recruiting program in stride.
The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for redesigning and implementing a key asset of our company: our recruiting program. The successful candidate will perform the full process of sourcing, identifying, vetting, selecting and hiring qualified candidates in the fields of Science; Technology; Engineering; IT and other technical fields, for positions to be filled both in the US and around the world. Primary recruiting functions include; technical customer needs requirement interviews, review and editing of job descriptions, creation of job postings, posting jobs, candidate searches, resume collection, candidate interviews and vetting, database mining, and database creation. The Senior Recruiter will also create, establish, and manage an employee recruitment database using iCIMs and SharePoint as defined by Bennett Aerospace.
Other duties and responsibilities not mentioned explicitly may also be required as needed. The successful candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced work environment that requires exceptional attention, and tackle and foresee new tasks and challenges. S/he must have the ability to interpret technical customer preferences and then exercise independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified candidate workforce in order to match requirements. In addition, the ability to anticipate labor needs and find potential candidates for not yet awarded proposals is critical.
Candidates chosen for an interview must be able to pass a technical knowledge and skills test. The successful candidate must be able to obtain a Secret DOD security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship and a clean criminal record.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Expert technical knowledge in the identification and recruitment of qualified candidates for employment at Bennett Aerospace.
Ability to speak easily and smoothly on the phone with customers and potential candidates using American English (including being comfortable with making cold calls to potential candidates).
Represent Bennett Aerospace in the best possible light to customers and candidates.
Prepare correspondence, e-mail, and other documents as requested. Proofread copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
Schedule and organize meetings/interviews for customers/candidates through the use of MS Outlook and e-mail invites, with phone call follow-ups as needed.
Handle confidential information and correspondence, including preparing offer letters for signature and overseeing the receipt and completion of accepted documents.
Establish, develop, maintain, and update recruiting database management system, including scanning paper files to computerized filing system and retrieving information from files when needed.
Follow Recruitment best practices.
Creation and updating of a technical recruiting best practices guide.
Onboarding of new employees.
Assist in the proposal preparation process, as necessary.
Work independently and within a team on special or ongoing projects.
Maintain an office environment to promote security, efficiency, and orderliness.
Computer Equipment and Software Requirements:
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Tools Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Internet and e-mail proficiency.
Strong typing/data entry skills with ability to type 60wpm.
Education and
Experience:
BA/BS required; Advanced Degree desirable
2-5 years of corporate recruiting experience.
Excellent professional references.
Preferences:
4
years of corporate recruiting experience.
Prior experience in creating and maintaining an iCIMS database or similar resume management system.
Proficiency with MS Access database design and/or use, desirable.
Prior experience at a company that is a Federal Government contractor (DOD preferred).
Strong broad science or technical understanding.

Communication Skills:
Strong communication skills (oral and written), including first-rate spelling and grammar skills in American English.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition; subtraction; multiplication; division).
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; and
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
